Arts Lab is a creative wellbeing programme by and for young people in Cornwall, delivered by HeadStart Kernow, FEAST and Arts Well.
The aim of this programme is to address the mental and emotional health needs of young people, with particular attention to the impact of the pandemic, and to connect them to their local communities, giving them visibility and an outlet for self-expression. We are using the Five Ways to Wellbeing as a foundation for the creative projects.
Over the past two years, we have commissioned artists to work with young people’s groups all over Cornwall to co-create opportunities in response to what the young people said they want. Watch the film and read the Impact Report by clicking the buttons below.
Applications to be involved in Arts Lab Year 3 have now closed. Keep your eye on this page as a call out for Arts Lab Year 4 applications will be launched in 2024.
