Arts Lab is a creative wellbeing programme by and for young people in Cornwall, delivered by HeadStart Kernow, Creative Kernow and Arts Well.
The aim of this programme is to address the mental and emotional health needs of young people, with particular attention to the impact of the pandemic, giving them an outlet for self-expression, connection and fun. We use the Five Ways to Wellbeing as a foundation for the creative projects. Arts Lab is mainly funded by The Cornwall Council Wellbeing and Public Health Service.
Over the past three years, we have commissioned artists to work with young people’s groups all over Cornwall to co-create opportunities in response to what the young people said they want. Watch the film and read the Impact Reports by clicking the buttons below.
