The Rynzine is a cross between a magazine and a parish newsletter made by residents of Penryn. Workshops, run by local artists and writers, support residents to produce content for the next edition. A pilot issue was distributed by a team of over 30 volunteers to every one of Penryn’s 3600 households. Following its success, production has now begun for the next edition, due out in February 2023. The aim is for Rynzine to become a place to share information about what’s happening locally, and celebrate the community in fun, creative and productive ways. Rynzine is an invitation for residents to come together creatively to build community resilience.
