Working in collaboration with participants from the Launceston community, Sarah Brittain Edwards facilitated the creation of these textile creations. Using freehand techniques, both by machine and hand, the project highlights texture and sustainability through upcycled materials sourced from Scrapstore.
Participants were invited to contribute to the shared piece or pursue their own textile work, within a welcoming and relaxed environment. The finished work reflects both individual creativity and the importance of inclusive, socially engaged making.
