Ceramist Sian Bush explored which elements of culture can be carried across borders with participants from the Saltash community. Thinking about what remains constant, inherent, and non-negotiable within identity and community.
Through a series of participatory pottery workshops, contributors were invited to reflect on their own cultural backgrounds, identifying symbols, traditions, and signifiers that hold personal meaning. These were then translated into clay bunting/prayer flags, forming a collective expression of shared and individual heritage.
