To mark the UN’s International Year of Soils in 2015, this two and a half year project is an exploration and celebration of the history of horticulture. A range of activities will take place at Trengwainton Gardens. By exploring the story of the people and place (from prehistory to the story of the Victorian plant hunters through to present day), the project will gather oral histories, archive materials, collect local horticultural folk traditions and interpret findings digitally / creatively through an app, films and book. The project is a partnership with the National Trust.
