Following the recent installation of a bandstand roof, Camelford Town Council saw this as a great opportunity to get the people of Camelford together to turn an ordinary roof into a night sky installation. Each of the 12 panels will have constellations drilled and fibre optic lights placed behind each hole of varying sizes. Now the bandstand has a roof, this will now be able to be used as another space for artists and musicians and the addition of these starry night panels under the roof, will make this a very special venue. It is fitting as Camelford sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor which has recently awarded “Dark Skies Landscape”
