Trebiggan productions are back with another classic “Cider with Rosie” by Laurie Lee and adapted by legendary Cornish writer Nick Darke with live music by The People String Foundation at the amazing Minack Theatre.
Laurie Lee’s gentle and beautifully touching story recounts the defining moments of his adolescent life, recalling glorious outings, frozen white winters, long hot, hazy summers, tyrannical teachers, erratic family life and of course that first cider-fuelled encounter.
This version will be performed as part of a festival celebrating Nick Darke’s life (The Nick Darke Festival) with a good Trebiggan twist thrown in!
Live new music from The People’s String Foundation. Cider with Rosie opens at the Minack Theatre, on 18th May, and runs until 22nd
