The Cornwall Folk Festival has a 46-year history and attracts people from far and wide to Wadebridge and helps to put North Cornwall on the music map. It is run entirely by volunteers, offering a range of concerts, street performances, dance and music sessions and workshops.
This year sees a community expansion with Egloshayle Church becoming a second main venue, an added bus service to help people with access and workshops in dance and music. There will also be a ‘head-to-head’ interview with two patrons Wizz Jones and Geoff Lakeman and a poet-in-residence Rob Barratt to help get the creative juices flowing.
