Discover Looe

This collaboration between Looe Old Guildhall Museum, artist Sue Field and local schools is one of the first  Bright Sparks project.  The project will create two banners to be displayed in a prominent position in the street outside the Museum. The aim is to attract people’s attention to the museum and demonstrate that it is an active organisation in the community. The research for the artwork will be carried out by school pupils who will invite the community to a memory sharing tea party where they will interview people of all generations about the themes on which the banners are based. These are themes close to the heart of looe: Fishing, Building Boats, Smuggling, the RNLI and the Sea.
