This year’s festival from Monday 16th through to Sunday 22nd October includes fiction headliners Eleanor Catton and Ben Okri, some great Cornwall-themed events with Tim Hannigan, Catrina Davies and Raynor Winn talking about ideas of Cornishness, and an event with celebrated novelist Louis de Bernieres, who’s opening the festival with a conversation about his new novel, Light Over Liskeard. If it’s laughs you’re after Radio 4 ranconteur and stand-up, Robin Ince will be sharing his bibliomania and comedian and poet Tim Key will be reading from his new collection. There will also be free Childrens’ events and workshops running at Falmouth Library, covering everything from devising a story, creating Manga characters, neurodiversity, appreciation of the natural environment and mischievous animals.
