Creative Kernow
Images of Camborne – the town is seen through the eyes of the people who live here. The design now displayed on a shop window in Trelowarren Street, has been made using the artwork created in a community art project, led by Tough Dough. Participants have been inspired by some of Camborne’s key buildings, spaces and views and then created drawing, screen prints and collage to create a positive and vibrant reflection of Camborne and its people.
Groups involved have included Camborne Academy, Coastline Housing, Costa Coffee Youth Café, Donald Thomas Centre. Funding has been provided by FEAST, Safer Camborne, Alcohol Prospectus Fund, BID Camborne.
It is hoped to find a permanent public space for the murals.
