Creative Kernow
This exciting new two-week illuminated arts and music festival is the sixth in a series of biennial Island Light Festivals from ARTiculate, timed to bring light and warmth to one of the darkest times of the year on the Isles of Scilly, and created in close collaboration with the whole community. Springing from our ‘Words On The Wing’ lockdown project, which helped inspire and connect Islanders and mainlanders via the creation and sharing of ‘migratory’ bird-themed arts and poetry, ‘A Wider World’ also celebrates how the migration of birds – and people – to the Isles and beyond, along with their stories and their cultures, can transcend imagined boundaries and help enrich & reconnect us all. The festival will take place in February 2022.
