Creative Kernow
This is a ‘pilot’ storytelling fun day, as an experiment to see whether there is the enthusiasm to develop a regular storytelling festival in Liskeard in future years.
As well as a stop-go animation workshop run by Lizzie Black, there will be a small ‘cinema’ where the Mazed (www.mazedtales.co.uk) animations will be screened throughout the day. Giant Mazed characters made from willow will be displayed around the site, with storytelling and music going on from our amphitheatre in our garden.
There will be a special ‘book shop’, an art wall and a story themed treasure hunt as well as other themed games and activities. There will be specific activities for Under 5’s run by Liskerrett Pre-school and Liskeard Children’s Centre.
