Lowender Peran 2016

 
 
 

Combining local tradition and global influence, ‘Tansys Gwav’ will be a spectacular flagship event at this year’s Lowender Peran. With the festival moving slightly later in the year – this special commission working with Swamp Circus and Truro School of Samba, will look at Cornwall’s ‘Guize’ customs around Mis Du (November – the Dark Month) and the traditions of bonfires, music, dance and the ‘hobby-horse’.
