Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Moor Forms

Moor Forms is a collaborative project between Cornwall-based artist Jonathan Michael Ray and Berlin-based artist Amélie Groezinger. It will take place at Porthmeor Studios in St Ives, Cornwall throughout the month of February in 2019, before travelling to Berlin later in the year.

This Project involves a public exhibition of artworks created by the artists during their time as ‘artists-in-residence’ at Porthmeor Studios back in 2018. Alongside this exhibition, Amélie and Jonathan will be working together in studio 5 (made famous thanks to previous inhabitants such as Patrick Heron, Ben Nicholson, Veronica Ryan, Lucy Stein and Danny Fox); where they will work side-by-side, investigating where their own art practices and visions of Cornwall intersect, and collaborating together to create and show new works throughout the month.

Both of these spaces will be open to the public on a weekly basis, including a program of talks, screening events and a drinks reception.
