Northern Lights

Northern Lights is a collaboration between the communities of Bodmin, Lostwithiel and Port Isaac where children, youth and community groups come together to write music, sing, dance, make lanterns and create fabulous processional artworks for 3 community parades.

This year we will be working in schools to create songs that have their own animated projected pop video created by school children and there will be several weekends of community activities to create large scale shadow cuts and window decorations as we light up the towns and villages.

Artists involved will include producer Emma Mansfield, composer and musician Roger Luxton, filmmaker James Stuart, visual artists Caroline Cleave, Hannah Backland and Reg Payne. Final celebrations will take place in Bodmin on Friday 1st December, Port Isaac on Saturday 2nd December and in Lostwithiel on Thursday 14th December.
