Creative Kernow
This Bright Sparks project will see artist Laura Menzies and Penryn Museum working closely with the local community to produce a participatory publication, which will be a multi- layered and diverse expression of local life in the town. The publication will have several key themes that relate to aspects of the museums collection such as trade, industry and transport, and will allow residents of the town to compare their lives to others who lived and worked here centuries ago. All the material included in the publication will be contributed from the residents of Penryn through a range of workshops, activities and interactions.
