SALT 2016 is a six-week festival of dance in the landscape in extraordinary sites across Cornwall, including:
Neptunalia: A site-specific outdoor promenade performance created and performed by Cscape Dance Company at Trebah Gardens in Cornwall
Shoreline: An outdoor performance event created by Simon Birch Dance Company performed at Sennen, Kynance Cove and Watergate Bay
Dance Camp: A 10-day “dance lab” for 30 emerging professional dancers and choreographers focussed on dance in the landscape led by mentors Rosemary Lee and Luca Silvestrini.
SALT Summer Ball- a performance and participatory celebration event incorporating small-scale commissions to professional dance artists to mount works to be shown at the event.
Campervan of Love- a newly commissioned work by New Art Club in Mawgan Port and Hawksfield
Generate: community dance commission by Luca Silvestrini for an outdoor location in Wadebridge.
A participation programme with 25+ schools across Cornwall.
