Print artist Caroline Wilkins sent out screenprints to the 200 sewers that are part of the Cornish Clothmask makers group that have sewn over 6000 masks for community carers in lockdown. A Stitch in Time marks and celebrates this incredible piece of creative community action. A ‘memory box’ will be donated to Kresen Kernow to archive the Cornish community response to Covid-19 for posterity.
This project has not been publicised on the FEAST website until now, so that the prints came as a surprise through the post to all the members of the sewing group!
