Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Stories of Helston

This project, researching and sharing the unknown stories of past Helston residents will bring our community together as we develop a new cultural and community hub for Helston. Over a 12 month period, stories will be collated which will inspire writing workshops and new scripts, new pieces of music to be played and sung, monologues and spoken word performances… and at the end of this time of gathering we will create a promenade performance travelling through the cemetery for anyone and everyone in our community to experience.
