Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Tea Treat

 
 
 

With this project we intend to create a musical experience from the 19th century with a brass band playing new arrangements of traditional tea treat music. The players will be individually recorded and the sounds electronically mixed to give a full-band sound. The music will be preserved for posterity and, as a bonus, provide a ray of hope to a beleaguered brass band movement.
