Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Writing and Well Being for Self Employed Women

Join Emily Wheeler for a series of 8 Writing for Wellbeing Workshops specifically designed to support self-employed women returning to business post-Covid this Autumn.

In a safe and supportive environment, we’ll use life coaching and journaling techniques to acknowledge the challenges, identify our core beliefs and values, and begin to make action plans for moving forwards with a positive outlook.

We are thrilled to be able to offer these workshops free to participants, having received funding from FEAST, who are supported by Arts Council England and Cornwall Council. Spaces are limited to six in order to maintain social distancing, and will be held in an inspiring outdoor location at the wesup. CoffeeBox on Castle Drive, Falmouth.

The workshop includes a hot drink from the CoffeeBox and a Writing for Wellbeing Gift Box from Strength in Feathers, but please bring your own picnic blanket to designate your ‘space’… We’ll spread out on the grass overlooking the bay, where Emily will lead our writing sessions.

Workshop Dates are Tuesdays, 10-12.
September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
October 6th, 13th, 20th

Booking will be first come first served, but you must run a business or charity in the Falmouth area and identify as female. Please only book if you can attend at least 7 of the 8 sessions, otherwise a space is being taken from someone else who could use it. I’m so looking forward to meeting you all!

Please do email Emily at [email protected] with any questions at all.
